America is a melting pot where the fabric of the country is made of different ethnicities living together in the same community mixed in with generations of families that immigrated earlier, forming a new American identity yet preserving their culture. Immigrants start a new life to live the American dream where opportunities to succeed and liberties are better than back in their home country. Adults work hard while their children are get a good education and a successful job to provide for the family and contribute to American society.
In this video “College Students React to Racism In America, On 1940 Film”, it shows that we still are dealing with similar racist views as back in the 1940s, even though decades have passed.
I believe through education, we can see through the lies that leaders feed us. We can think smarter and know not to listen to them when they are trying to divide us.
